- September 8, 2023 – September 16, 2023: Northern Ballet will present Generations, a triple bill featuring a world premiere work by Tiler Peck (female), alongside works by Benjamin Ella (male), and Hans van Manen (male).
- Gianna Reisen for Carolina Ballet – Program: Firebird
- September 14, 2023 – October 1, 2023: Carolina Ballet will present Firebird, a program featuring a world premiere work by Gianna Reisen (female), alongside a work by Robert Weiss (male).
- Bobbi Jene Smith for L.A. Dance Project
- September 14, 2023 – September 30, 2023: L.A. Dance Project will present a new evening-length work by choreographic artists-in-residence Bobbi Jene Smith + Or Schraiber.
- Rima Pipoyan for Bern Ballet – Program: Anatomy of Emotion
- September 14, 2023 – January 6, 2024: Bern Ballet will present Anatomy of Emotion, a program featuring world premiere works by Rima Pipoyan (female), Etienne Béchard (male), and Mauro Astolfi (male).
- Joëlle Le Boutillier and Yulia Makayeva for Ballet d’Jèrri – Program: Siez Sé
- September 14, 2023 – September 17, 2023: Ballet d’Jèrri will present Siez Sé, a program featuring new works by Joëlle Le Boutillier (female), Pedro Lozano Gomez (male), and a collaboration by choreographer Asier Edeso (male) and visual artist Yulia Makayeva (female).
- Penny Saunders for Tulsa Ballet – Program: Creations in Studio K
- September 15, 2023 – September 24, 2023: Tulsa Ballet will present Creations in Studio K, a program featuring world premiere works by Penny Saunders (female) and Adam Hougland (male) alongside a work by Yury Yanowsky (male).
- Gina Patterson & Kyra Jean Green at the Midwest Trust Center
- September 15, 2023 – September 16, 2023: The Midwest Trust Center will present New Dance Partners, a program featuring newly commissioned works by four choreographers on various local dance companies. The choreographers include Gina Patterson (female), Kyra Jean Green (female), Norbert De La Cruz III (male), and Omar Román De Jesús (male), Patterson will create a new work for Kansas City Ballet, Green will create a new work for Störling Dance Theatre.
- Wubkje Kuindersma for West Australian Ballet – Program: Van Gogh
- September 8, 2023 – September 23, 2023: the West Australian Ballet will present Van Gogh, a world premiere evening-length work by Wubkje Kuindersma (female).
- Zoë Ashe-Browne and Kirsten Wicklund for Opera Ballet Vlaanderen – Program: Choreolab
- September 1, 2023 – September 9, 2023: Opera Ballet Vlaanderen will present Choreolab, a program featuring new works by dancers of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Zoë Ashe-Browne (female), Kirsten Wicklund (female) and Viktor Banka (male).
- Maxine Doyle for the Brisbane Festival – Program: Salamander
- September 1, 2023 – September 24, 2023: The Brisbane Festival will present Salamander, a world premiere featuring choreography by Maxine Doyle (female), sculptures and set design by Es Devlin (female), sound design by Rachael Dease (female).

- Viviana Alcazar, Megan Curet, Jessica Rabanzo-Flores, Khamla Somphanh, Gina Sorensen, and Chelsea Zeffiro for Malashock Dance – Program: Everyday Dances
- January 25, 2023 – January 28, 2023: Malashock Dance will present Everyday Dances, a program featuring “ten new, short choreographic works by visionary choreographers based in San Diego” choreographers are Viviana Alcazar (female), Matthew Armstrong (male), sol dela rosa (they/them), Gary Champi (male), Megan Curet (female), John Malashock (male), Jessica Rabanzo-Flores (female), Khamla Somphanh (female), Kyle and Gina Sorensen (male & female), Chelsea Zeffiro (female).

- Rochester City Ballet Announces New Co-Artistic Director
- On August 31, 2023: Rochester City Ballet announced that Megan Kamler (female) and Shannon Rodriguez (female) have been appointed as co-artistic directors of the company. Kamler and Rodriguez succeed Robert Gardner (male) in the position.
- American Repertory Ballet Announces New Rehearsal Directors
- On August 31, 2023: American Repertory Ballet announced that Harriet Clark (female) and Calvin Hilpert (male) have been appointed as Rehearsal Directors.
- Grand Rapids Ballet Executive Director Announces Retirement
- In August 2023: Grand Rapids Ballet Executive Director Glenn Del Vecchio (male) announced his retirement effective at the end of the 2023/2024 season. As of the date of this post no successor has been appointed.
- Phoenix Dance Theater Announces New Artistic Director
- On September 4, 2023: Phoenix Dance Theater announced that Marcus Jarrell Willis (male) has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the company effective October 1, 2023.
- Pittsburgh Ballet Theater Announces New Executive Director
- On September 7, 2023: Pittsburgh Ballet Theater announced that Nicholas Dragga (male) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company effective November 1, 2023. Dragga succeeds Dr. Kathryn Gigler (female) who has been serving as Acting Executive Director since June 2022. This is a female-to-male transition.

- Applications Open for LA Dance Project Residency LAUNCH:LA
- Applications have opened for LA Dance Project’s LAUNCH:LA residency, a “three-week residency program offering artists time and space to dive into a generative process that culminates in the presentation of a new work in fully-produced public performances in LADP’s theater space.” The deadline for the application is September 30, 2023.
