- October 11, 2023 – October 15, 2023: Co3 Contemporary Dance will present Architect of the Invisible, a new work by Raewyn Hill (female).
- Stephanie Martinez for American Repertory Ballet – Program: Elevate
- October 13, 2023 – October 18, 2023: American Repertory Ballet will present Elevate, a program featuring new works by Stephanie Martinez (female) and Meredith Rainey (male) with newly commissioned music by composer Miranda Scripp (female), alongside a work by Ethan Stiefel (male).
- Daniela Cardim, Ruth Brill, and Kristen McNally for New English Ballet Theater – Program: Genesis Dance Project and New Works
- October 14, 2023 – November 3, 2023: New English Ballet Theater will present Genesis Dance Project and New Works, a program featuring world premiere works by Daniela Cardim (female), Ruth Brill (female), Kristen McNally (female), Wayne Eagling (male), and Valentino Zucchetti (male) alongside a work by Peter Leung (male).
- Xenia Aidonopoulou and Jade Hackett for Dance Umbrella Festival
- October 6, 2023 – October 31, 2023: The UK’s Dance Umbrella Festival will present world premiere works by Xenia Aidonopoulou (female), and Jade Hackett (female), alongside works by Marco da Silva Ferreira (male), Amala Dianor (male), Sonya Lindfors (female), Ioanna Paraskevopoulou (female).
- Imre van Opstal for Nederlands Dans Theater
- September 21, 2023 – November 10, 2023: Nederlands Dans Theater will present In/with/in, a program featuring world premiere works by choreographic duo Imre van Opstal (female) & Marne van Opstal (male), and Tao Ye (male), alongside a work by Marco Goecke (male).
- Rima Pipoyan for Bern Ballet – Program: Anatomy of Emotion
- September 14, 2023 – January 6, 2024: Bern Ballet will present Anatomy of Emotion, a program featuring world premiere works by Rima Pipoyan (female), Etienne Béchard (male), and Mauro Astolfi (male).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Hilla Ben Ari for Limón Dance Company – Program: Women’s Stories at New York Live Arts
- December 7, 2023 – December 9, 2023: Limón Dance Company will present Women’s Stories, A program “centralizing (on) the female perspective and highlighting women who shaped (Limón’s) canon and influenced the fields of dance and art.” The program will feature the world premiere of a reimagined version of ‘The Moor’s Pavane’ choreographed by Hilla Ben Ari (female) alongside works by José Limón (male) featuring all-women casts.
- Janice Rosario for Newport Contemporary Ballet – Program: Shifting Light
- March 14, 2024 – March 23, 2024: Newport Contemporary Ballet will present Shifting Light, a program featuring newly commissioned works by Janice Rosario (female), and Kristopher Estes-Brown (male).
- Melanie Lane for Sydney Dance Company – Program: Season Two
- September 18, 2024 – October 19, 2024: Sydney Dance Company will present Season Two, a program featuring a world premiere work by Melanie Lane (female) alongside a work by Rafael Bonachela (male).

- Pittsburgh Ballet Theater announced New Choreographers in Residence
- In September 2023: Pittsburgh Ballet Theater announced the appointment of Yoshiaki Nokano (male), and William Moore (male), as choreographers in residence for the company.
- Parsons Dance Announced New Associate Artistic Director
- On September 30, 2023: Parsons Dance announced that Natalie Lomonte (female) has been appointed as Associate Artistic Director of the company. This is a newly created position.

- Creative Australia Awards Announce 2023 Fellowships
- On September 28, 2023: Creative Australia announced the artists awarded the 2023 Creative Australia Fellowship. The recipient for dance is Vicki Van Hout (female).
- The Center for Ballet and the Arts and National Sawdust Announced 2023-2024 Toulmin Fellows
- On October 2, 2023: The Center for Ballet and the Arts and National Sawdust announced the 2023-2024 Toulmin Fellows. The fellows include choreographers Ausia Jones (female) and Tiler Peck (female), and composers Erica “Twelve45” Blunt (female) and Wang Lu (female).
- Gibney Announces OPEN INTERVAL 2023-2024 Participants
- Gibney has announced the 2023-2024 OPEN INTERVAL Residency Participants. The residency pairs an ” artist and scientist (who will) develop unique ways to conduct informal and non-product oriented research and experiments related to their individual practices and professions through exchange, dialogue, collaboration, and play. The participants include Yara Travieso (female) working with Amin Nejatbakhsh, Ph.D. (male), and Paloma McGregor (female) working with Tatyana Gavrilchenko, Ph.D. (female).
