• Rachel Barker and Katarzyna Skarpetowska for Repertory Dance Theater – Program: Venture
  • November 16, 2023 – November 18, 2023:  Repertory Dance Theater will present Venture, A program featuring new works by Rachel Barker (female), Katarzyna Skarpetowska (female), Shane Urton (male), and Ruger Memmott (male), alongside a work by Meghan Durham Wall (female).
• Amy Hall Garner for ABT Studio Company Fall Tour
  • November 7, 2023 – November 17, 2023:  ABT Studio Company will present their Fall Tour programming, featuring world premiere works by Amy Hall Garner (female) and Jamar Roberts (male) alongside works by Hope Boykin (female), Houston Thomas (male), and Alexei Ratmansky (male). 
• Samantha Lynch for the Norwegian National Ballet – Program: Klassik Mesteraften
  • November 9, 2023 – May 11, 2024:  the Norwegian National Ballet will present Klassik Mesteraften, a program featuring a new work by Samantha Lynch (female), alongside works after Marius Petipa by Kaloyan Boyadjiev (male), Natalia Makarova (female), and Xander Parish (male). 
• Helen Picket for the National Ballet of Canada – Program: Emma Bovary & Passion
  • November 11, 2023 – November 18, 2023:  The National Ballet of Canada will present Emma Bovary & Passion, featuring a world premiere work by Helen Pickett (female) alongside a work by James Kudelka (male)
• Micaela Taylor for NDT 2 – Program: Illuminate
  • November 2, 2023 – December 21, 2023:  NDT 2 will present Illuminate, a program featuring world premiere works by Micaela Taylor (female), and Jermaine Spivey (male), alongside a work by Nadav Zelner (male).
• Sabrina Sadowska for Theater Chemnitz Ballet – Program: Rhapsody in C
  • October 28, 2023 – March 17, 2023:  Theater Chemnitz Ballet will present Rhapsody in C, a program featuring a new evening-length work by company Ballet Director Sabrina Sadowska (female)
• Rima Pipoyan for Bern Ballet – Program: Anatomy of Emotion
  • September 14, 2023 – January 6, 2024:  Bern Ballet will present Anatomy of Emotion, a program featuring world premiere works by Rima Pipoyan (female), Etienne Béchard (male), and Mauro Astolfi (male).
    
    

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Eryn Renee Young for Joffrey Ballet Concert Group – Program: Spring Gala – In My Art
  • Joffrey Ballet Concert Group has announced the choreographers chosen for the Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI). The initiative provides support and a commission to be performed in Spring Gala-In My Art February 16, 2024 – February 18, 2024, the program will feature  world premiere works by Eryn Renee Young (female), Vernard J Gilmore (male), and Bradley Shelver (male).

• City Ballet of San Diego Announces New Associate Artistic Director
  • On October 11, 2023:  City Ballet of San Diego announced that Ariana Gonzalez (female) has been appointed as Associate Artistic Director of the company. 
• Alberta Ballet Announces New Rehearsal Director
  • On October 11, 2023:  Alberta Ballet announced that Yoshiya Sakurai (male) has been appointed as Rehearsal Director for the company. 
• English National Ballet Announces New Music Director
  • On November 7, 2023:  the English National Ballet announced that Maria Seletskaja (female) has been appointed as Music Director for the company.
