Leadership Changes

- Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Announces Departure CEO
- In February 2024: the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced that CEO Henry Timms (male), will depart his role effective August 2024. No successor has been appointed as of the date of this post.
- Ballet Edmonton Announces New Artistic Director
- On March 1, 2024: Ballet Edmonton announced that Wen Wei Wang (male) will depart his role as Artistic Director effective May 2024. The company also announced that Kirsten Wicklund (female) has been appointed as the incoming Artistic Director. She will begin her tenure effective August 2024. This is a male-to-female transition.
- Busan Opera House Announces New Ballet Artistic Director
- On March 4, 2024: the Busan Opera House announced that Kim Joo-won (female) has been appointed as the Ballet Artistic Director for the “first season of the Busan Opera House’s ballet company”
- Orlando Ballet Announces Departure of Executive Director
- On March 7, 2024: Orlando Ballet announced that the company would not be renewing the contract of Executive Director Cheryl Colline (female) at the end of the 2023/2024 season. The company announced that Artistic Director Jorden Morris will serve as Interim ED.
- Ballet Idaho Academy Announces Interim Director
- On March 7, 2024: Ballet Idaho Academy announced that Dex Honea (male) has been appointed as Interim Academy Director.
