  • March 14, 2024 – March 23, 2024, Newport Contemporary Ballet will present Shifting Light, a program featuring newly commissioned works by Janice Rosario (female), and Kristopher Estes-Brown (male). 
• Věra Kvarčáková for Les Grands Ballets – Program: Cantata
  • March 14, 2024 – March 16, 2024:  Les Grands Ballets will present Cantata, a program featuring a world premiere work by choreographic dup Věra Kvarčáková (female) & Jérémy Galdeano (male), and Étienne Delorme (male) alongside works by Bridget Breiner (female), and Mauro Bigonzetti (male).
• Maxine Doyle for NDT 2 – Program: The Beauty of it All
  • March 14, 2024 – May 2, 2024:  NDT 2 will present The Beauty of it All, a program featuring a world premiere work by Maxine Doyle (female), alongside works by Jiří Kylián (male), and Ohad Naharin (male).
• Yin Yue for BalletMet – Program: Asian Voices
  • March 15, 2024 – March 23, 2024:  BalletMet will present Asian Voices, A triple bill featuring a world premiere work by Yin Yue (female), alongside works by Ma Cong (male), and Edwaard Liang (male).

  • March 15, 2024 – March 16, 2024:  JV2 will present a program featuring new works by Kay Crook (female) and Alex Stavropoulos (male) alongside a work by Jasmin Vardimon (female).

  • March 15, 2024 – March 17, 2024:  Deos Contemporary Ballet will present EMBER, A program featuring world premiere works by Artistic Director Tess Sinke (female), and Isaac Aoki (male) alongside a work by Attila Mosoylgo (male).
• Suzanne Lownsbury and Janina Michalski for Ballet Virginia – Program: Cinderella
  • On March 16, 2024:  Ballet Virginia will present Cinderella, a new ballet choreographed by Suzanne Lownsbury (female) and Janina Michalski (female).
• Elizabeth Wistrich  for City Ballet of San Diego – Program: An American In Paris
  • March 16, 2024 – March 17, 2024:  City Ballet of San Diego will present An American In Paris, a program featuring world premiere works by Elizabeth Wistrich (female) and Geoffrey Gonzalez (male), alongside a work by Christopher Wheeldon (male).
• Caroline Finn and Paloma Muñoz Luengo for Bern Ballett – Program: Virginia’s House
  • January 21, 2024 – April 5, 2024:  Bern Ballett will present Virginia’s House, a double bill featuring world premiere works by Caroline Finn (female) and Paloma Muñoz Luengo (female).
• Sharon Eyal and Sol León for Staatsballett Berlin – Program: 2 Chapters Love
  • December 11, 2023 – June 14, 2024:  Staatsballett Berlin will present 2 Chapters Love, A program featuring new works by Sharon Eyal (female), and Sol León (female).

  • On April 14, 2024:  BalletNEXT will present a new program featuring a world premiere work by Michele Wiles (female) alongside repertory works by Mauro Bigonzetti (male) and Michele Wiles. 
• Janie Taylor for LA Dance Project – Program: Spring Dances 
  • May 2, 2024 – May 12, 2024:  LA Dance Project will present Spring Dances, A program featuring new works by Janie Taylor (female) and Benjamin Millepied (male), alongside repertory works by Benjamin Millepied.
• Ashley Dean for New English Ballet Theater – Program: Next Generation Festival
  • June 15, 2024 – June 16, 2024:  New English Ballet Theater will present the Next Generation Festival, a program featuring new works by Ashley Dean (female) and Matthew Ball (male).
• Cathy Marston for the Joffrey Ballet – Program: Atonement
  • October 17, 2024 – October 27, 2024:  the Joffrey Ballet will present the US premiere of Atonement, an evening-length work by Cathy Marston (female). 
• Claudia Schreier for Atlanta Ballet – Program: The Rite of Spring
  • February 7, 2025 – February 15, 2025:  Atlanta Ballet will present The Rite of Spring, A program featuring a world premiere by Claudia Schreier (female), alongside a work by Helgi Tomasson (male).
• Danielle Rowe for the Joffrey Ballet – Program: Golden Hour
  • February 20, 2025 – March 2, 2024:  the Joffrey Ballet will present Golden Hour, A program featuring world premiere works by Danielle Rowe (female), and Yuri Possokhov (male), alongside works by Cathy Marston (female), and Nicolas Blanc (male)
• Annabelle Lopez Ochoa for Atlanta Ballet – Program: May Program
  • May 9, 2025 – May 11, 2025:  Atlanta Ballet will present its May Program, featuring a world premiere work by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (female) alongside works by Liam Scarlett (male), and Alexander Ekman (male). 
    
    

Leadership Changes

• Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Announces Departure CEO
  • In February 2024:  the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced that CEO Henry Timms (male), will depart his role effective August 2024. No successor has been appointed as of the date of this post. 
• Ballet Edmonton Announces New Artistic Director 
  • On March 1, 2024:  Ballet Edmonton announced that Wen Wei Wang (male) will depart his role as Artistic Director effective May 2024. The company also announced that Kirsten Wicklund (female) has been appointed as the incoming Artistic Director. She will begin her tenure effective August 2024. This is a male-to-female transition. 
• Busan Opera House Announces New Ballet Artistic Director
  • On March 4, 2024:  the Busan Opera House announced that Kim Joo-won (female) has been appointed as the Ballet Artistic Director for the “first season of the Busan Opera House’s ballet company”
• Orlando Ballet Announces Departure of Executive Director
  • On March 7, 2024:  Orlando Ballet announced that the company would not be renewing the contract of Executive Director Cheryl Colline (female) at the end of the 2023/2024 season. The company announced that Artistic Director Jorden Morris will serve as Interim ED. 
• Ballet Idaho Academy Announces Interim Director
  • On March 7, 2024:  Ballet Idaho Academy announced that Dex Honea (male) has been appointed as Interim Academy Director.
