  • March 19, 2024 – March 24, 2024:  Richmond Ballet will present Studio Two: New Works Festival, a program featuring new works by Emily Adams (female), Joshua L. Peugh (male), Andrea Schermoly (female), and Ira White (male). 
• Jenni Large for Australasian Dance Collective – Program: Three
  •  March 20, 2024 – March 23, 2024, Australasian Dance Collective will present Three, A program featuring new works by Jenni Large (female) and Alisdair Macindoe (male), alongside a work by Amber McCartney (female).
• Bethany Green, Carly Topazio, and Cherice Barton for The Rosin Box Project – Program: Empower
  • March 21, 2024 – March 30, 2024:  The Rosin Box Project will present Empower, a program featuring world premiere works by Bethany Green (female), Carly Topazio (female), and Cherice Barton (female).
• Janice Rosario for Dance Kaleidoscope – Program: New Voices
  • March 21, 2024 – March 24, 2024:  Dance Kaleidoscope will present New Voices, A program featuring new works by Janice Rosario (female), and Manuel Valdes (male) alongside a work by Mariel Greenlee-Lungu (female). 
• Sophie Laplane for Ballet Black – Program: Ballet Black: HEROES
  • March 22, 2024:  Ballet Black will present Ballet Black: HEROES, a program featuring a new work by Sophie Laplane (female) alongside a work by Mthuthuzeli November (male).  
• Melissa Barak for Los Angeles Ballet – Program: Next Steps
  • March 22, 2024 – March 24, 2024:  Los Angeles Ballet will present Next Steps, a program featuring a world premiere work by Melissa Barak (female) alongside works by Justin Peck (male) and Hans van Manen (male).
• Marika Brussel for Sacramento Ballet – Program: Visions 2024
  • March 22, 2024 – March 24, 2024:  Sacramento Ballet will present Visions 2024, a program featuring a world premiere work by Marika Brusse (female), alongside works by Ihsan Rustem (male), and Ma Cong (male).
• Tara Schaufuss for The Royal Danish Ballet – Program: Koreorama
  • March 22, 2024 – April 30, 2023:  The Royal Danish Ballet will present Koreorama, A program featuring new works by Tara Schaufuss (female), Tobias Praetorius (male), and Matteo Di Loreto (male).
• Maxine Doyle for NDT 2 – Program: The Beauty of it All
  • March 14, 2024 – May 2, 2024:  NDT 2 will present The Beauty of it All, a program featuring a world premiere work by Maxine Doyle (female), alongside works by Jiří Kylián (male), and Ohad Naharin (male).
• Yin Yue for BalletMet – Program: Asian Voices
  • March 15, 2024 – March 23, 2024:  BalletMet will present Asian Voices, A triple bill featuring a world premiere work by Yin Yue (female), alongside works by Ma Cong (male), and Edwaard Liang (male). 
• Caroline Finn and Paloma Muñoz Luengo for Bern Ballett – Program: Virginia’s House
  • January 21, 2024 – April 5, 2024:  Bern Ballett will present Virginia’s House, a double bill featuring world premiere works by Caroline Finn (female) and Paloma Muñoz Luengo (female).
• Sharon Eyal and Sol León for Staatsballett Berlin – Program: 2 Chapters Love
  • December 11, 2023 – June 14, 2024:  Staatsballett Berlin will present 2 Chapters Love, A program featuring new works by Sharon Eyal (female), and Sol León (female). 
    
    

Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming

• Caroline Dahm for Cincinnati Ballet – Program: Kaplan New Works Series
  • September 6, 2024 – September 15, 2024:  Cincinnati Ballet will present the Kaplan New Works Series, A program featuring new works by Caroline Dahm (female), Christian Denice (male), and Gustavo Ramirez (male).
• Annabelle Lopez Ochoa for Ballet Arizona – Program: Frida
  • February 13, 2025 – February 16, 2025:  Ballet Arizona will present the US Premiere of Frida, an evening-length work by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (female). 
• Jennifer Archibald for BalletMet – Program: Black Voices
  • June 6, 2025 – June 14, 2025:  BalletMet will present Black Voices, A program featuring world premiere works by Jennifer Archibald (female), and Dwight Rhoden (male), alongside a work by Ulysses Dove (male).

• Newport Contemporary Ballet Announces Departure of Executive Director
  • On March 7, 2024:  Newport Contemporary Ballet announced that Peter Bramante is no longer Executive Director of the company and that Artistic Director Danielle Genest (female)  will assume the role of Executive Artistic Director. 
• Cincinnati Ballet Announces New President & CEO
  • On March 11, 2024:  Cincinnati Ballet announced that Deborah S. Brant (female) has been appointed as the new President and CEO of the company. Brant has been serving as the “Interim Executive Leader” since January after the departure of the previous CEO, Scott Altman (male). 
• American Ballet Theater Announces New Executive Director
  • On March 14, 2024:  American Ballet Theater announced that Barry Hughson (male) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company effective July 1, 2024. Hughson Succeeds Artistic Director Susan Jaffe (female) who took on the role after Janet Rollé (female) resigned from the position in June 2023.
• National Ballet of Canada Announces Departure of Executive Director
  • On March 14, 2024:  the National Ballet of Canada announced the departure of Executive Director Barry Hughson (male) who has taken the Executive Director position at American Ballet Theater. National Ballet of Canada Artistic Director Hope Muir (female) will take on the position in an interim capacity. The company stated that they will “commence an international search for an Executive Director immediately.”
