- Newport Contemporary Ballet Announces Departure of Executive Director
- On March 7, 2024: Newport Contemporary Ballet announced that Peter Bramante is no longer Executive Director of the company and that Artistic Director Danielle Genest (female) will assume the role of Executive Artistic Director.
- Cincinnati Ballet Announces New President & CEO
- On March 11, 2024: Cincinnati Ballet announced that Deborah S. Brant (female) has been appointed as the new President and CEO of the company. Brant has been serving as the “Interim Executive Leader” since January after the departure of the previous CEO, Scott Altman (male).
- American Ballet Theater Announces New Executive Director
- On March 14, 2024: American Ballet Theater announced that Barry Hughson (male) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company effective July 1, 2024. Hughson Succeeds Artistic Director Susan Jaffe (female) who took on the role after Janet Rollé (female) resigned from the position in June 2023.
- National Ballet of Canada Announces Departure of Executive Director
- On March 14, 2024: the National Ballet of Canada announced the departure of Executive Director Barry Hughson (male) who has taken the Executive Director position at American Ballet Theater. National Ballet of Canada Artistic Director Hope Muir (female) will take on the position in an interim capacity. The company stated that they will “commence an international search for an Executive Director immediately.”
