- July 5, 2023 – July 9, 2023: Danish Dance Theater will present Copenhagen Summer Dance, a dance festival featuring new work by Dorotea Saykaly (female), alongside works by David C. Price (male), and Justin Rapaport (male).
- Tatiana Desardouin for American Dance Festival – Program: Footprints 2023
- July 8, 2023 – July 9, 2023: The American Dance Festival will present Footprints 2023, a program featuring three world premiere ADF commissions by Tatiana Desardouin (female), Brian Brooks (male), and Abdel R. Salaam (male).
- Laura O’Malley for SF Danceworks – Program: Season 6
- June 29, 2023 – July 2, 2023: SF Danceworks will present Season 6, A program featuring world premiere works by Laura O’Malley (female), Bryan Arias (male), and Alexander Anderson (male), alongside works by Pam Tanowitz (female) and José Limón (male).

- Jennifer Archibald for The School at Jacob’s Pillow
- On July 22, 2023: The School at Jacob’s Pillow will present the Contemporary Performance Ensemble in a program featuring works by guest choreographers Jennifer Archibald (female), Ronald K. Brown (male), and Cayetano Soto (male).
- Savannah Dunn for Deos Contemporary Ballet – Program: COLLIDE Series 23
- July 28, 2023 – July 30, 2023: Deos Contemporary Ballet will present COLLIDE Series 23, A program featuring a world premiere work by Savannah Dunn (female), alongside works by Tess Sinke (female).
- Gina Patterson & Kyra Jean Green at the Midwest Trust Center
- September 15, 2023 – September 16, 2023: The Midwest Trust Center will present New Dance Partners, a program featuring newly commissioned works by four choreographers on various local dance companies. The choreographers include Gina Patterson (female), Kyra Jean Green (female), Norbert De La Cruz III (male), and Omar Román De Jesús (male), Patterson will create a new work for Kansas City Ballet, Green will create a new work for Störling Dance Theatre.
- Hannah Garner (2nd Best Dance Company) for Gibney Presents 2023/2024
- November 2, 2023 – November 4, 2023: Gibney Presents 2023/2024 will present a program featuring 2nd Best Dance Company. This program will feature a world-premiere work by Hannah Garner (female).
- Penny Saunders for Diablo Ballet – Program: Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding
- February 9, 2024 – February 10, 2024: Diablo Ballet will present Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding, a program featuring a new work by Penny Saunders (female), alongside company repertory, and a work by Gerald Arpino (male).
- Maeghan McHale Hobbs for First State Ballet – Program: Triple Bill
- February 23, 2024 – February 25, 2024: First State Ballet will present Triple Bill, a program featuring world premiere works by Maeghan McHale Hobbs (female), Zachary Kapeluck (male), and Viktor Plotnikov (male).
- Sidra Bell for Gibney Presents 2023/2024
- May 16, 2024 – May 18, 2024: Gibney Presents 2023/2024 will present Sidra Bell Dance New York in a program featuring a world premiere work by Gibney’s inaugural Artist-in-Residence, Sidra Bell (female).

- Aalto Ballett Essen Announces New Artistic Leadership
- On June 22, 2023: Aalto Ballett Essen announced that Marek Tůma (male) & Armen Hakobyan (male) have been appointed co-Artistic Directors. They will succeed Ben Van Cauwenbergh (male) who announced his retirement in May 2023.
- New Ballet Company Founded: Hollywood Ballet
- On June 23, 2023: Artistic Director Petra Conti (female) Main Ballet Master Eris Nezha (male), and Music Director Daniel Suk (male) announced the founding of Hollywood Ballet.
- Co3 Contemporary Dance Announces New Executive Director/Co-CEO
- On June 27, 2023: Co3 Contemporary Dance announced that Hilary McKenna (male), has been appointed as the company’s New Executive Director/Co-CEO effective July 31, 2023. McKenna succeeds Alana Culverhouse (female) who announced her resignation in March 2023. This is a female-to-male transition.
- English National Ballet Announces New ENBYouthCo, Creative Director
- On June 27, 2023: the English National Ballet announced that Carolyn Bolton (female) has been appointed as the new ENBYouthCo. Creative Director. Bolton succeeds Richard Bermange (male) in this role.

- Signe Lykke to Compose for Danish Dance Theater – Program: Leaning Tree
- October 21, 2023 – October 24, 2023: Danish Dance Theater will present Leaning Tree, a collaborative program between the Danish Dance Theater and the Copenhagen Phil, featuring an original symphonic composition by Signe Lykke (female), and choreography by Fernando Melo (male).
