  • National Ballet School of Cuba Announces New Director
    • On January 12, 2024:  The National Ballet School of Cuba announced that Dani Miguel Hernández Acosta (male) has been appointed school director. Hernández succeeds Ramona de Saà (female). This is a female-to-male transition. 
  • The Royal Ballet School Announces New CEO Position 
    • On January 16, 2024:  the Royal Ballet School announced the intention to appoint a “CEO alongside (an) Artistic Director.” This announcement comes after current school Artistic Director, Christopher Powney (male) announced his intention to step down in July 2024. The governors of the school decided to split the Artistic and Executive tasks into two roles and appointed Christopher Rodrigues (male) as Interim CEO.
