  • The Tallahassee Ballet Announces Interim Artistic Director
    • On January 9, 2024:  The Tallahassee Ballet announced that company Artistic Director Tyrone Brooks (male) will be taking a leave of absence due to health reasons. The company also announced that Meagan Helman (female) has been appointed Interim Artistic Director of the company.
  • Brooklyn Ballet Announces New Managing Director
    • On January 10, 2024:  Brooklyn Ballet announced that Jelani Buckner (male) has been appointed as the company’s ‘Inaugural’ Managing Director. 
  • Cleveland Ballet Announces Leadership Changes 
    • On January 10, 2024:  Cleveland Ballet Board of Directors announced the conclusion of the 3 month long investigation regarding misconduct allegations against the former CEO and Artistic Director of the company. The Board of directors announced that Gladisa Guadalupe (female), who had been suspended since November 2023 has been fired. The board of directors also announced that Timour Bourtasenkov (male) has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the company, and Larry Goodman (male) has been appointed Interim CEO. 
  • Jacob’s Pillow Announces Associate Artistic Director
    • On January 10, 2024:  Jacob’s Pillow announced that Kim Chan (female) has been appointed as Associate Artistic Director of the organization.
