• Dani Rowe and Shannon Alvis for the OBT2 Tour
  • April 20, 2024 – June 1, 2024:  Oregon Ballet Theater’s second company, OBT, 2 will present its 2024 tour featuring works by Dani Rowe (female), Shannon Alvis (female), Ben Stevenson (male) and Dominic Walsh (male).
• Anna Hop for the Polish National Ballet – Program: Pinocchio
  • April 21, 2024 – April 26, 2024:  the Polish National Ballet will present Pinocchio, a world premiere evening-length ballet choreographed by Anna Hop (female).
• Amy Hall Garner for New York City Ballet – Program: Classic NYCB I
  • April 24, 2024 – June 6, 2024:  New York City Ballet will present Classic NYCB I, a program featuring world premiere works by Amy Hall Garner (female), and Justin Peck (male), alongside works by George Balanchine (male).’
• May Zarhy for Theater Chemnitz Ballet – Program: Showcase VII: Witness
  • April 25, 2024 – June 13, 2024:  Theater Chemnitz Ballet will present Showcase VII: Witness, A program featuring an evening-length work by May Zarhy (female).
• Marissa Rae Niederhauser and Ashley A. Friend at Performance Works NorthWest!
  • April 26, 2024 – April 28, 2024:  Marissa Rae Niederhauser (female) and Ashley A. Friend (female) will present new works at Performance Works NorthWest! 
• Natasha Adorlee for BalletX – Program: Festival at the Mann
  • April 26, 2024 – April 27, 2024:  BalletX will present works in Festival at the Mann, the program will feature a new work by Natasha Adorlee (female) alongside works by Takehiro Ueyama (male), and Jamar Roberts (male).
• Diana Movius for Moveius Contemporary Ballet – Program: Glacier: A Climate Change Ballet
  • April 27, 2024:  Moveius Contemporary Ballet will present Glacier: A Climate Change Ballet, A program by Diana Movius (female) presented at the Smithsonian “In conjunction with the Portrait Gallery’s “Forces of Nature: Voices that Shaped Environmentalism” exhibition”
• Monique Haley, Tsai Hsi Hung, and Kia S. Smith for South Chicago Dance Theatre 
  • On April 27, 2024:  South Chicago Dance Theatre will present An Evening with the South Chicago Dance Theatre: Season 7, a program featuring world premieres by Monique Haley (female), Tsai Hsi Hung (female), Kia S. Smith (female), Donald Byrd (male), Joshua Blake Carter (male), Terence Marling (male).
• Erika Overturff for American Midwest Ballet – Program: Cinderella
  • April 27, 2024 – May 12, 2024:  the American Midwest Ballet will present Cinderella, a world premiere evening-length ballet by choreographer Erika Overturff (female).

  • April 13, 2024 – July 5, 2024:  Aalto Ballett Essen will present Last, a program featuring world premiere works by Ana Maria Lucaciu (female), Armen Hakobyan (male), and Ben Van Cauwenbergh (male).
• Gong Xingxing for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam – Program: Origin
  • April 7, 2024 – June 9, 2024:  Scapino Ballet Rotterdam will present Origin, a program featuring new works by Gong Xingxing (female), and Lior Tavori (male).
• Mélanie Lomoff for Opera Ballet Vlaanderen – Program: Ombra
  • March 30, 2024 – May 8, 2024:  the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen will present Ombra, A world premiere program featuring a collaboration of “chorus members, dancers and orchestral musicians of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (in a) creative dialogue” including choreography by Mélanie Lomoff (female) and Luis Marrafa (male).
• Tara Schaufuss for The Royal Danish Ballet – Program: Koreorama
  • March 22, 2024 – April 30, 2023:  The Royal Danish Ballet will present Koreorama, A program featuring new works by Tara Schaufuss (female), Tobias Praetorius (male), and Matteo Di Loreto (male).
• Maxine Doyle for NDT 2 – Program: The Beauty of it All
  • March 14, 2024 – May 2, 2024:  NDT 2 will present The Beauty of it All, a program featuring a world premiere work by Maxine Doyle (female), alongside works by Jiří Kylián (male), and Ohad Naharin (male).
• Sharon Eyal and Sol León for Staatsballett Berlin – Program: 2 Chapters Love

• Kia Smith and Shannon Alvis for Visceral Dance Chicago – Program: Solus
  • May 2, 2024 – May 5, 2024:  Visceral Dance Chicago will present Solus, a program featuring new works by Kia Smith (female),  Shannon Alvis (female), Brian Martinez (male), Malcolm Maurice (male), and Eugene Peabody (male).
• Jolene Bailie for Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers – Program: signals to segue
  • May 3, 2024 – May 5, 2024:  Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers will present signals to segue, a new creation by Jolene Bailie (female), featuring original sound by Emma Hendrix (female), and costume co-design by Wanda Farian (female).
• Sarah Slipper for NW Dance Project – Program: Moving Stories
  • May 31, 2024 – June 1, 2024:  NW Dance Project will present Moving Stories, A program featuring new works by Sarah Slipper (female) and Ihsan Rustem (male).
• Reka Gyulai and Nicole Von Enck for Pointeworks – Program: POINTEWORKS 1
  • On June 20, 2024:  Pointeworks will present POINTEWORKS 1, a program featuring world premiere works by Reka Gyulai (female), and Nicole Von Enck (female) alongside works by Heather Nichols (female), Melody Mennite (female), and Caili Quan (female).
• Cherice Barton, DaYong Jung, and Donna Salgado for the National Choreographer’s Initiative
  • On July 27, 2024:  the National Choreographer’s Initiative will present NCI Discovery, a program featuring new works by Cherice Barton (female), DaYoung Jung (female), Donna Salgado (female), and Charles Askegard (male).
• Rena Butler for the Dutch National Ballet – Program: Generation Dance
  • September 11, 2024 – September 25, 2024:  the Dutch National Ballet will present Generation Dance, a program featuring a world premiere work by Rena Butler (female), alongside works by William Forsythe (male), Ted Brandsen (male), and Hans van Manen (male).
• Caili Quan for New York City Ballet – Program: Contemporary Choreography
  • October 11, 2024 – October 12, 2024:  New York City Ballet will present Contemporary Choreographers, a program featuring a world premiere work by Caili Quan (female) alongside works by Giana Reisen (female), and Tiler Peck (female).
• Milena Sidorova and Zoë Greten for the Dutch National Ballet Junior Company – Program: Made in NL
  • February 8, 2025 – March 12, 2025:  the Dutch National Ballet Junior Company will present Made in NL, a program featuring world premiere works by Milena Sidorova (female), and Zoë Greten (female), alongside works by Rudi van Dantzig (male), Hans van Manen (male), and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (female).
• Helen Pickett for the Dutch National Ballet – Program: Lady Macbeth
  • April 5, 2025 – April 22, 2025:  the Dutch National Ballet will present Lady Macbeth, An evening-length premiere featuring choreography and co-direction by Helen Pickett (female) in collaboration with her co-director James Bonas (male).

• English National Ballet School Announces New Artistic Director
  • On April 16, 2024:  the English National Ballet School announced that Lynne Charles (female) has been appointed Artistic Director effective September 2024. Charles succeeds Viviana Durante (female). This is a female-to-female transition. 
• Ballet Hartford Announces Artistic Director and Executive Director Transitions 
  • On April 16, 2024:  Ballet Hartford announced that Claire Kretzschmar (female) has been appointed the company’s Artistic Director. Kretzschmar succeeds Leyna Doran (female) in the position. The Company also announced that Leyna Doran (female) would be transitioning into the role of Executive Director.

• Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project Announces 2024 Residents
  • Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project has announced the residents for the 2024 RIWCP. Residents include Margot Aknin (female), Dara Capley (female), Ana G. Delgado Cruz (female), Morgan Dubay (female), Mira Göksel (female), and Minami Kikuchi (female). The residency will be 3 weeks with a final performance on August 24-25, 2024. 
• 2024 Guggenheim Fellows Announced
  • On April 11, 2024:  the 2024 Guggenheim Fellows for Choreography were announced. The Fellows include Rosie Herrera (female), Ryan K. Johnson (male), Hari Krishnan (male), Rebecca Lazier (female), Victor Quijada (male), amara tabor-smith (female), and Abby Zbikowski (female)
