- English National Ballet School Announces New Artistic Director
- On April 16, 2024: the English National Ballet School announced that Lynne Charles (female) has been appointed Artistic Director effective September 2024. Charles succeeds Viviana Durante (female). This is a female-to-female transition.
- Ballet Hartford Announces Artistic Director and Executive Director Transitions
- On April 16, 2024: Ballet Hartford announced that Claire Kretzschmar (female) has been appointed the company’s Artistic Director. Kretzschmar succeeds Leyna Doran (female) in the position. The Company also announced that Leyna Doran (female) would be transitioning into the role of Executive Director.

- Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project Announces 2024 Residents
- Rhode Island Women’s Choreography Project has announced the residents for the 2024 RIWCP. Residents include Margot Aknin (female), Dara Capley (female), Ana G. Delgado Cruz (female), Morgan Dubay (female), Mira Göksel (female), and Minami Kikuchi (female). The residency will be 3 weeks with a final performance on August 24-25, 2024.
- 2024 Guggenheim Fellows Announced
- On April 11, 2024: the 2024 Guggenheim Fellows for Choreography were announced. The Fellows include Rosie Herrera (female), Ryan K. Johnson (male), Hari Krishnan (male), Rebecca Lazier (female), Victor Quijada (male), amara tabor-smith (female), and Abby Zbikowski (female)
