• Young Soon Hue and Alice Topp for Tulsa Ballet – Program: Creations in Studio K
  • September 12, 2024 – September 22, 2024:  Tulsa Ballet will present Creations in Studio K, A program featuring new works by Young Soon Hue (female), and Alice Topp (female) alongside a work by Stephanie Martinez (female).
• Mikelle Bruzina for Louisville Ballet – Program: Studio Connections
  • September 13, 2024 – September 22, 2024:  Louisville Ballet will present Studio Connections, A program featuring a world premiere work by Mikelle Bruzina (female) alongside works by August Bournonville (male) and Marius Petipa (male).
• Jennifer Archibald for Smuin Contemporary Ballet – Program: Dance Series 1
  • September 13, 2024 – October 20, 2024:  Smuin Contemporary Ballet will present Dance Series 1, a program featuring a world premiere work by Jennifer Archibald (female) alongside works by Amy Seiwert (female), and Matthew Neenan (male).
• Jennifer Archibald for Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre – Program: Out of the Box: Series 2
  • September 14, 2024 – September 22, 2024:  Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre will present Out of the Box: Series 2, a program featuring a world premiere work by Jennifer Archibald (female) alongside Shane Urton (male).

• Noelle Kayser for Whim Whim – Program: Fall Choreographic Shindig
  • September 13, 2024 – September 21, 2024:  Whim Whim will present Fall Choreographic Shindig, a program featuring new works by Noelle Kayser (female), Carlos Franquiz (male), and Adam McGaw (male).
• Nadia Adame for AXIS Dance Company – Program: Ecos
  • October 11, 2024 – October 13, 2024:  AXIS Dance Company will present Ecos, a program featuring world premiere works by Nadia Adame (female), Dazaun Soleyn (male), and Jorje Crecis (male)
• Katlyn Addison and Mariana Oliveira for Ballet Des Moines – Program: Movimiento
  • October 18, 2024 – October 19, 2024:  Ballet Des Moines will present Movimiento, a program featuring new works by Katlyn Addison (female) and Mariana Oliveira (female).
• Amber McCartney and Siobhan McKenna for Sydney Dance Company – Program: New Breeds
  • December 4, 2024 – December 14, 2024:  Sydney Dance Company will present New Breeds, a program featuring a world premiere by Amber McCartney (female), Siobhan McKenna (female), Dean Elliott (male), and Piran Scott (male)
• Robyn Mineko Williams for Whim Whim – Program: Winter ‘25
  • January 17, 2025 – January 25, 2025:  Whim Whim will present Winter ‘25, a program featuring new creations by Robyn Mineko Williams (female), Cameron Fraser-Monroe (male), and Olivier Wevers (male). 
• Andrea Schermoly for Charlotte Ballet – Program: Carmen
  • May 2, 2025 – May 11, 2025:  Charlotte Ballet will present Carmen, an evening-length work by Andrea Schermoly (female).
• Lauren Edson for Whim Whim – Program: Spring ‘25
  • May 9, 2025 – May 17, 2025:  Whim Whim will present Spring ‘25, a program featuring new creations by Lauren Edson (female), Mark Caserta (male), and Olivier Wevers (male).
• Jessica-Rose White and Dana Mazurowski for BoSoma Dance Company – Program: Interconnections
  • November 16, 2024 – November 17, 2024:  BoSoma Dance Company will present Interconnections, a program featuring premiere works by Jessica-Rose White (female) and Dana Mazurowski (female) alongside a work by Eddy Ocampo (male).

• Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts Announces New President and CEO
  • On August 7, 2024:  Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts announced the appointment of Dr. Mariko Silver (female), as the new president and CEO effective September 23, 2024. Silver succeeds Henry Timms (male), who announced his departure from the role in February 2024. 
• Lexington Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
  • In July 2024:  Lexington Ballet announced that Eric Trope (male) had been appointed as Artistic Director of the company. 
• Pacific Northwest Ballet Announces New Rehearsal Directors
  • In August 2024:  Pacific Northwest Ballet announced that Nancy Crowley (female), has been appointed Family Matinee Rehearsal Director, and Jonathan Porretta (male) has been appointed Rehearsal Director for the company. 
• Alberta Ballet Announces New Rehearsal Director
  • In August 2024:  Alberta Ballet announced that Brian Waldrep had been appointed Rehearsal Director for the company.

 

Artist Opportunities

• 2024–25 Base Residency Program Applications Open
  • Applications are now open for the 2024–25 Base Residency Program. This residency “ provides one- and two-week residencies as well as $1,000-per-week stipends to four Seattle-based and three out-of-town artists”
  • The deadline for applications is September 25, 2024.
    
• Applications for 2025 New York State Choreographers Initiative Open Soon
  • Applications for the 2025 New York State Choreographers Initiative will open on October 1, 2024. 
  • The application deadline is December 7, 2024.
