Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Michelle Manzanales for Paul Taylor Dance Company
- June 14, 2022-June 19, 2022: Paul Taylor Dance Company will celebrate the 60-year anniversary of Paul Taylor’s work Aureole. The program will include three celebrated works by Paul Taylor alongside two world premieres by choreographers Michelle Manzanales (female) and Peter Chu (male).
- Mikaela Polley for Ballet Central – 2022 Tour Program
- Ballet Central has announced its 2022 tour program which features three world premiere works by Mikaela Polley (female), Ashley Page (male), & Mthuthuzeli November (male).
- Lucy Guerin Australian Ballet – Program: DanceX Festival Part 1
- October 20, 2022-October 22, 2022 The Australian Ballet will be presenting DanceX, a dance festival that features works from nine Australian dance companies. Among the programming is a world premiere work by Lucy Guerin, commissioned by The Australian Ballet for the festival.
- Iratxe Ansa & Imre van Opsta for Ballett Theater Basel – Program: Imbalanced Parallels
- January 28, 2023-May 18, 2023: Ballett Theater Basel will present Imbalanced Parallels, a program that features choreographic teams. Iratxe Ansa (female) and Igor Bacovich (male) comprise one of the two teams that have been commissioned for this program. The second team commissioned is Imre van Opstal (female) and Marne van Opstal (male).
- Emma Portner for Norwegian National Ballet – Program: Portner/Kylian/Balanchine
- March 2, 2023-March 24,2023 Norwegian National Ballet will present Portner/Kylian/Balanchine, a triple bill program featuring a world premiere by Emma Portner (female) alongside works by Jiří Kylián (male) and George Balanchine (male).

- American Ballet Theater announces Susan Jaffe as next Artistic Director
- Announced May 9, 2022: Susan Jaffe has been named the next artistic director of American Ballet theater. Jaffe will succeed current artistic director, Kevin McKenzie, at the end of 2022. In light of her appointment, Susan Jaffe has announced that she will step down as artistic director of Pittsburgh Ballet Theater in November 2022 in order to prepare for her new role.

- Andrea Guajardo, founder and artistic director of Ballet Nepantla will be presenting her company on July 13, 2022 at the 2022 dance festival at Jacob’s Pillow.
