- March 30, 2024 – May 8, 2024: the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen will present Ombra, A world premiere program featuring a collaboration of “chorus members, dancers and orchestral musicians of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen (in a) creative dialogue” including choreography by Mélanie Lomoff (female) and Luis Marrafa (male).

- Lyon Opera Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- In April 2023: The Lyon Opera Ballet announced that effective August 16, 2023, Cédric Andrieux (male) will begin his tenure as Artistic Director of the company. Andrieux will succeed Julie Guibert (female), who announced her retirement earlier this year. This is a female-to-male transition.
- Ballet Chelsea Announces New Artistic Director
- On May 2, 2023: Ballet Chelsea announced that Michelle Quenon (female) had been appointed as Artistic Director of the company. Quenon succeeds Wendy DuBois (female). This is a female-to-female transition.
- San Francisco Ballet Resident Choreographer and Rehearsal Director to Depart Roles
- On April 23, 2023: San Francisco Ballet Resident Choreographer and Rehearsal Director, Val Caniparoli (male) announced that his “full-time tenure” with the company will end in June 2023. No successor has been announced as of the date of this post.

- The 2023 Guggenheim Choreography Fellows were recently announced, they include Jon Kinzel (male), Petra Kuppers (female), Liz Lerman (female), Makini (jumatatu m. poe) (gnc), Richard Move (gnc), Meg Stuart (female), and Nejla Yatkin (female).
