- Katya Bourvis, Vidya Patel, Cecilia Lisa Eliceche for Ballet d’Jerri – Program: The Witches
- June 5, 2025 – June 15, 2025: Ballet d’Jerri will present The Witches, a program featuring world premiere works by Katya Bourvis (female), Vidya Patel (female), and Cecilia Lisa Eliceche (female).
- Jennifer Archibald for BalletMet – Program: Black Voices
- June 6, 2025 – June 14, 2025: BalletMet will present Black Voices, A program featuring world premiere works by Jennifer Archibald (female), and Dwight Rhoden (male), alongside a work by Ulysses Dove (male).
- Diana Movius for Moveius Contemporary Ballet – Program: Muse
- June 6, 2025 – June 8, 2025: Moveius Contemporary Ballet will present Muse, a program featuring a new work by Artistic Director Diana Movius (female) alongside works by local choreographers, yet to be announced.
- Bridget Breiner for Ballet Am Rhein – Program: Soirée Ravel
- June 7, 2025 – July 13, 2025: Ballet Am Rhein will present Soirée Ravel, a program featuring world-premiere creations by Bridget Breiner (female) and Richard Siegal (male).
Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Katie Drablos, Danielle Diniz, Sara Edwards, Lisa Harvie, Lauren Lovette, Laura Kaufman, Rachel Thalman, Sara Brians for Women in Motion – Program: Ephemeral Breaths
- June 14, 2025 – June 15, 2025: Women in Motion will present Ephemeral Breaths, a program featuring choreographic works by Katie Drablos (female), Danielle Diniz (female), Sara Edwards (female), Lisa Harvie (female), Nick Korkos (male), Lauren Lovette (female), Laura Kaufman (female), Rachel Thalman (female), and Kobe Atwood Courtney (they/them). The show will also include the premiere of a dance on film choreographed by Sara Brians (female)and filmed by Grace Copeland (female).
- Lake Tahoe Dance Collective to present Lake Tahoe Dance Festival
- July 22, 2025 – July 25, 2025: Lake Tahoe Dance Collective will hold their Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, featuring a new commission by Holly Curran (female) alongside works by Melody Mennite (female), Lia Cirio (female), and George Balanchine (male).
Leadership Changes
- Repertory Dance Theater Announces Leadership Transitions
- On May 27, 2025: Repertory Dance Theater Artistic and Executive Director Linda C. Smith announced that, effective July 1, 2025, she would transition out of her roles and into the role of RDT Director Emerita. She also announced that Nicholas Cendese (male) and Lynne Larson (female) would succeed her as Co-Artistic and Executive Directors.
