Leadership Changes

  • The Australian Ballet School Announces New Executive Director
    • On May 19, 2025: the Australian Ballet School announced that Sarah Hunt (female) will succeed Kirsty Ritchie (female) as executive director of the school, effective July 21, 2025. 
  • Texas Ballet Theater Announces Departure of Executive Director
    • On May 21, 2025: Texas Ballet Theater announced that the Executive Director, Vanessa Logan (female) will depart the role June 30, 2025. No successor has been announced as of the date of this post. 
  • Azara Ballet Announces New Artistic Director 
    • On May 21, 2025: Azara Ballet announced that Joshua Andrew Stayton (male) will succeed the current Artistic Directors and Co-Founders, Kate Flowers (female) & Martin Flowers (female). Kate & Martin Flowers will transition to Executive and Rehearsal Director positions. 
  • Birmingham Royal Ballet Announces New CEO
    • On May 21, 2025: Birmingham Royal Ballet announced that Paul James (male) has been appointed as the new CEO of the company. James succeeds Caroline Miller (female), who passed away in December 2024.
