- Kansas City Ballet Announces New Executive Director
- On May 9, 2023: Kansas City Ballet announced that David Gray (male) has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the company effective July 1, 2023. Gray succeeds Jeffrey Bentley (male) who announced his retirement in May of 2022. This is a male-to-male transition.
- Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company Announces New Executive Director
- On May 9, 2023: Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company announced that Thom Dancy (male) has been appointed as Executive Director of the company. Dancy succeeds Jena C. Woodbury (female) in the role. This is a female-to-male transition.

- On May 11, 2023: Cleveland Ballet announced that Anna Segal (female) has been named as the company’s first Resident Composer.
