- Paris Opera Ballet Announces New Junior Ballet
- On May 30, 2024: the Paris Opera Ballet announced the new Paris Opera Junior Ballet, to be directed by Paris Opera Ballet Director José Martinez (male).
- Gerhart Hauptmann Theater Announces New Dance Director
- On May 31, 2024: the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater announced that Massimo Gerardi (male) will succeed Marko E. Weigert (male) in the role of Dance Director.
- First State Ballet Theatre announces The School of FSBT at Whitehall School Director
- On May 31, 2024: First State Ballet Theatre announced that Aynsley Inglis has been appointed school director for The School of FSBT at Whitehall. Inglis will oversee the opening of the new school.
- La Scala announces it will not renew Ballet Artistic Director or Theater Manager’s Contracts
- In June it was announced that La Scala Ballet will not renew the contracts of Artistic Director Manuel Legris (male) and Theater Manager Dominique Meyer (male). A search is underway for Legris’ successor and it has been announced that Fortunato Ortombina (male) will succeed Meyer in the role of Theater Manager.
- The School of Nashville Ballet Announces New School Directors
- On June 3, 2024: Nashville Ballet announced that Dmitiri (male) and Jennifer Kulev (female) have been appointed as the Directors of the School of Nashville Ballet. The Kulevs succeed Nashville Ballet Artistic Director Nick Mullikin (male) in the role.
- Canada’s National Ballet School Announces new Artistic Director
- Canada’s National Ballet School has announced that Margaret Tracey (female) will succeed Mavis Staines (female) in the role of Artistic Director of the school effective June 24, 2024.
- Oakland Ballet Company Announces New Artist in Residence
- On May 31, 2024: Oakland Ballet Company announced that Phil Chan (male) has been named Artist in Residence for the company.
