Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Nancy Paradis & Claudia Scheier for Richmond Ballet – Program: Program 3 New Works Festival
- February 23, 2023 – February 26, 2023: Richmond Ballet will present Program 3: New Works Festival, a quadruple bill featuring new works by Nancy Paradis (female), Claudia Schreier (female), Norbert De La Cruz III (male), and Yury Yanowsky (male).
- Lucinda Childs, Chanon Judson, and Bobbi Jene Smith for Kaatsbaan Culture Park Fall Festival
- September 17, 2022 – September 19, 2022: Kaatsbaan Culture Park will present Glass Etudes at Kaatsbaan to open their fall festival. This program will feature new works by Lucinday Childs (female), Chanon Judson (female), Bobbi Jene Smith (female), Justin Peck (male), and Leonardo Sandoval (male).
- Liliana Barros & Emilie Leriche for Nederlands Dans Theater 2 – Program: Up & Coming Choreographers
- June 30, 2022 – July 2, 2022: NDT 2 will present Up & Coming Choreographers, a triple bill featuring new works by Liliana Barros (female), Emilie Leriche (female), and Jermaine Spivey (male).
- Caili Quan & Stephanie Martinez for Sacramento Ballet – Program: Emergence
- May 19, 2023 – May 21, 2023: Sacramento Ballet will present Emergence, a quadruple bill featuring new works by Caili Quan (female), Stephanie Martinez (female), and Adam Hougland (male), alongside George Balanchine’s (male) Agon.
- Sharon Eyal for Staatsballett Berlin – Program: Ekman/Eyal
- March 8, 2023 – May 27, 2023: Staatsballett Berlin will present Ekman/Eyal, a double bill featuring the world premiere Sharon Eyal’s (female) new work Strong, alongside a work by Alexander Ekman (male).
- Katarzyna Kozielska for the Estonian National Ballet – Program: Black/White
- March 24, 2023 – May 19, 2023: the Estonian National Ballet will present Black/White, a double bill featuring the world premiere of Katarzyna Kozielska’s (female) new work Open Door, alongside a work by Serge Lifan (male).

- Emily Adams, Jennifer Hart, and Gina Patterson announced as the 2022 Selected Choreographers National Choreographers Initiative.
- The National Choreographers Initiative has announced their 2022 selected choreographers. Four artists have been selected: Emily Adams (female), Leiland Charles (male), Jennifer Hart (female), and Gina Patterson (female). Three of the four artists are female.

- Sharon Eyal with Paris Opera Ballet at the Hollywood Bowl
- July 20, 2022 – July 21, 2022: Paris Opera Ballet will perform at the Hollywood Bowl. The complete program was announced and it includes 7 repertory works by male choreographers and just one work by a female choreographer. Sharon Eyal’s (female) work Faunes will be presented alongside works by Victor Gsovsky, Angelin Preljocaj, Mikhail Fokine, Hans van Manen, Rudolf Nureyev, Alastair Marriott, and Willam Forsythe.
