Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Natasha Powell for National Ballet of Canada – Program: Sharing the Stage
- August 16, 2022 – August 20, 2022: The National Ballet of Canada will present Sharing the Stage, a mixed bill featuring excerpts of company repertoire alongside “micro-commissions” from Natasha Powell (female) and Ethan Colangelo (male).
- Caili Quan for BalletX – Program: Fall Series 2022
- November 30, 2022 – December 1, 2022: BalletX will present Fall Series 2022, a triple bill featuring new works by Caili Quan (female) and Darrell Grand Moultrie (male) alongside a work by Justin Peck (male).
- Danielle Rowe for Grand Rapids Ballet – Program: Elemental Movement
- October 14, 2022 – October 16, 2022: Grand Rapids Ballet will present Elemental Movement, a triple bill featuring a new work by Danielle Rowe (female) alongside works by Lar Lubovitch (male) and Katarzyna Skarpetowska (female).
- Jennifer Archibald & Helen Simoneaufor Charlotte Ballet – Program: Innovative Works
- February 3, 2023 – February 25, 2023: Charlotte Ballet will present Innovative Works, a triple bill of new works by Jennifer Archibald (female), Helen Simoneau (female), and a third work yet to be announced.
- Amy Seiwert for BalletX – Program: Winter Series 2023
- March 1, 2023 – March 5, 2023: BalletX will present Winter Series 2023, a triple bill featuring new works by Amy Seiwer (female) and Gary W Jeter II (male), alongside a work by Jorma Elo (male).
- Penny Saunders for Grand Rapids Ballet – Program: Ballet + Broadway
- April 21, 2023 – April 30, 2023: Grand Rapids Ballet will present Ballet + Broadway, a triple bill featuring a world premiere work by Penny Saunders (female), alongside works by George Balanchine (male), and Andy Blankenuehler (male).
- Amy Hall Garner for BalletX – Program: Spring Series 2023
- May 4, 2023 – May 5, 2023: BalletX will present Spring Series 2023, a triple bill featuring a new work by Amy Hall Garner, alongside works by Trey McIntyre (male) and Jodie Gates (female).

- Toledo Ballet Appoints New Artistic Director
- Effective July 21, 2022: Toledo Ballet has announced the appointment of Eric Otto (male) as the new artistic director and head of curriculum of the company. Otto succeeds Lisa Mayer-Lang (female) whose departure was announced on January 4, 2022. This is a female-to-male transition.
- Yorkshire Ballet Seminars Appoints New Artistic Director
- July 2, 2022: Yorkshire Ballet Seminars, “The UK’s first residential summer school,” announced Cira Robinson (female) will take the reins of the school effective December 2022. Robinson succeeds Iain Mackay (male). This is a male-to-female transition.
