- Linda Austin Dance to Present In Preparation for Disappearances to Come
- February 6, 2025 – February 8, 2025: Linda Austin Dance will present In Preparation for Disappearances to Come, a world premiere work by Linda Austin (female) in collaboration with Allie Hankins (female) and Danielle Ross (female).
- Lindsey Bell, Ashley Taylor, Karen Fleming, and Emily Carey for Ballet Theatre of Maryland – Program: Momentum: A Mixed Bill
- February 21, 2025 – February 22, 2025: Ballet Theatre of Maryland will present Momentum: A Mixed Bill, a program featuring world premiere works by Lindsey Bell (female), Ashley Taylor (female), Karen Fleming (female), Emily Carey (female), Isaac Martinez (male) and Roman Mykyta (male).
- Stacey Allen, Donna Crump, and Nao Kusuzaki for Houston Contemporary Dance Company – Program: Localish
- On February 21, 2025: Houston Contemporary Dance Company will present Localish, a program featuring new works by Donna Crump (female), Adam Castaneda (male), Rivkah French (gender non-conforming), Nao Kusuzaki (female), and Andrea Dawn Shelley (female).
Leadership Changes
- Royal Winnipeg Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- On January 24, 2025: the Royal Winnipeg Ballet announced that Christopher Stowell (male) will succeed André Lewis (male) as Artistic Director of the company. This is a male-to-male transition.
- The Kennedy Center Announces Departure of President
- On January 27, 2025: The Kennedy Center announced that Deborah F. Rutter (female) will step down as President of the Center effective at the end of 2025. No successor has been announced as of the date of this post.
- Queensland Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- On January 31, 2025: Queensland Ballet announced that Ivan Gil-Ortega (male) has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the company. Gil-Ortega succeeds Greg Horsman (male) who has been serving as Acting Artistic Director.
