Oconee Performing Arts Society

April 30

OPAS is committed to enriching the lives of local students through multiple educational approaches. Mindful of the staggering debt incurred by college loans, OPAS initiated a scholarship program to provide financial assistance to students pursuing college studies in the performing arts. The criteria for this award cover a wide range of requirements, including grade point average, community and school performance experience, volunteerism, and a commitment to major in a performing arts-related field. To date, OPAS has awarded more than thirty college scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded in the spring of each year. This past year we gave the following scholarships:

One Carolyn Fears Scholarship
Four OPAS Scholarships

DEADLINE: April 30th, 2025
