- December 8, 2024 – July 7, 2025: Hamburg Ballet will present Slow Burn, a program featuring a world premiere work by Aszure Barton (female), alongside a work by William Forsythe (male).
- Jenn Freeman, Pam Tanowitz, and Yue Yin for Juilliard – Program: New Dances
- December 11, 2024 – December 15, 2024: Juilliard Dance Division will present New Dances, a program featuring world premiere works by Jenn Freeman (they/she), Pam Tanowitz (female), Yue Yin (female), and Houston Thomas (male).
- Quincie Bean, Beatriz García Díaz, Ingrid Ferdinand, and Alejandra Preciado for NW Dance Project – Program: In Good Company
- December 6, 2024 – December 14, 2024: NW Dance Project will present In Good Company, a program featuring new works by Quincie Bean (female), Beatriz García Díaz (female), Ingrid Ferdinand (female), Alejandra Preciado (female), and Mateo Vidals (male).

- December 4, 2024 – December 14, 2024: Sydney Dance Company will present New Breeds, a program featuring a world premiere by Amber McCartney (female), Siobhan McKenna (female), Dean Elliott (male), and Piran Scott (male)
- Hope Boykin for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at New York City Center
- December 4, 2024 – January 5, 2025: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will be in residence at New York City Center presenting a new program featuring new works by Hope Boykin (female), Matthew Rushing (male), Jamar Roberts (male), Lar Lubovitch (male) alongside works by Ronald K. Brown (male), and Elisa Monte (female).
- Kirsten Wicklund for Opera Ballett Vlaanderen – Program: Field/Minus 16
- November 30, 2024 – December 19. 2024: Opera Ballett Vlaanderen will present Field/Minus 16, a program featuring a world premiere work by Kirsten Wicklund (female), alongside a work by Ohad Naharin (male).
- Arielle Smith for the English National Ballet – Program: The Nutcracker
- November 28, 2024 – January 12, 2025: the English National Ballet will present the world premiere of a new evening-length version of The Nutcracker, co-choreographed by Arielle Smith (female) and Aaron S. Watkin (male).

- Emilie Leriche for Gibney Company at New York Live Arts – Program: Up Close
- December 10, 2024 – December 14, 2024: Gibney Company will present Up Close at New York Live Arts. The program will feature a world premiere by Emilie Leriche (female), alongside works by William Forsythe (male), and Mthuthuzeli November (male).

- Vancouver International Dance Festival Announces New Co-Directors
- On September 16, 2024, the Vancouver International Dance Festival announced Deanna Peters and Victor Vân Tran (male) as co-directors of the festival succeeding festival founders Jay Hirabayashi (male) and Barbara Bourget (female).
- Columbia Classical Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- On September 30, 2024, Columbia Classical Ballet announced that Joseph Phillips (male) has been appointed as the company’s Artistic Director. Phillips succeeds Brooklyn Mack (male) in the role.
- Joburg Ballet Announces Interim Artistic Director
- On December 5, 2024, Joburg Ballet announced that Dane Hurst (male) has been appointed as interim Artistic Director of the company effective January 2025.
- Birmingham Royal Ballet Announces Transition of CEO
- On December 5, 2024, Birmingham Royal Ballet announced that CEO Caroline Miller (female) will depart the company. The company also announced that Paul James (male) will succeed as Acting CEO effective April 4, 2025.
Artist Opportunities
- 2025-2026 Artists & Mothers Grant
- The 2025-2026 Artists & Mothers Grant is now taking applications. This grant is “eligible to New York City-based artists with children under the age of three, awardees will receive a grant for $25,000 to be used for childcare expenses with the provider of their choice.” Applications close on January 2, 2025.
