Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Tsai Hsi Hung for Dance Kaleidoscope – Program: Emerge
- March 14, 2025 – March 16, 2025, Dance Kaleidoscope will present Emerge, a program featuring a world premiere work by Tsai Hsi Hung (female), alongside works by Stuart Lewis (male), and Joshua Blake Carter (male).
- Rena Butler for Parsons Dance at the Joyce
- May 13, 2025 – May 24, 2025, the Parsons Dance will be in residence at the Joyce Theater, presenting a program featuring a world premiere by Rena Butler (female) alongside a work by David Parsons (male).
- Autumn Eckman for Dance Kaleidoscope – Program: Under the Covers
- May 30, 2025 – June 1, 2025, Dance Kaleidoscope will present Under the Covers, a program featuring world premiere works by Autumn Eckman (female), and Joshua Blake Carter (male)
Leadership Changes
- Dutch National Ballet Announces Incoming Artistic Director
- On December 18, 2024, the Dutch National Ballet announced that Ernst Meisner (male) will succeed Ted Brandsen (male) as Artistic Director of the company effective August 1, 2025.
