Female Choreography Commissions, World Premieres, and Programming
- Michele Byrd-McPhee & Mai Lê Hô for Guggenheim Works & Process Underground Uptown Festival
- January 12, 2023 – January 17, 2023: Guggenheim Works & Process will present their Underground Uptown Festival, featuring works by artists such as Michele Byrd-McPhee (female) and her organization Ladies of Hip-Hop, and Mai Lê Hô (female) and her company LayeRhythm. This festival also highlights works by Les Ballet Afrik, Masterz at Work Dance Family, Ephrat Asherie Dance, and more. For more information about each performance see the link above.
- Chloé Blair & Roseline Keppler for Joburg Ballet – Program: Dialogues
- March 17, 2023 – March 26, 2023: Joburg Ballet will present Dialogues, a triple bill featuring a world premiere work by Roseline Keppler (female), alongside an expanded version of a work by Chloé Blair that Joburg Ballet commissioned in 2021, and a repertory work staged by Bruno Miranda (male).
- Lauren Lovette & Paul Taylor Dance Company at The Music Center
- April 28, 2023 – April 30, 2023: The 20th season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center will feature a triple bill program from Paul Taylor Dance Company. This triple bill will feature a world premiere work by the company’s Resident Choreographer Lauren Lovette (female), alongside works by Paul Taylor (male) and Kurt Jooss (male).

- Ukrainian National Ballet Announces New Artistic Director
- On December 12, 2022: the Ukrainian National Ballet announced that Terada Nobuhiro (male) has been named the company’s new Artistic Director.
- Tanz Bielefeld Announces New Artistic Director & Chief Choreographer
- On December 8, 2022: Tanz Bielefeld announced that Felix Landerer (male) has been appointed the new Artistic Director and Chief Choreographer. Landerer succeeds Gianni Cuccaro (male) in this role. This is a male-to-male transition.

- Female Costume Designer Creates for Mats Ek’s New Production of Rite of Spring
- November 2022: English National Ballet presented Ek/ Forsythe/ Quagebeur, this program featured works from three celebrated choreographers. One of these works, a new production of Rite of Spring featured costume designs by Marie-Louise Ekman (female).

- Prix de Lausanne Announces 2023 Young Creation Award Finalists
- December 6, 2022: The Prix de Lausanne announced their 2023 Young Creation Award Finalists. Five finalists were selected out of 56 submissions. The finalists include Aleisha Walker (female), Elena Dombrowski (female), Hannah McCloughan (female), Nicholas Mihlar (male), and Martin Balaban (male).
