White men run the ballet world. That needs to change here in San Francisco

A new op-ed by Meg Waite Clayton shines a light on the search for a new artistic leader at the San Francisco Ballet.  One of the top 10 largest U.S. ballet companies, SF Ballet possesses an opportunity to start shifting the scale in favor of gender equity.  Meg says it best — “The decision of who will lead the San Francisco Ballet will help set the ballet world on a new course — one that should be in line with both its dancers and its audience.”
